About Dr. Eric Chamberlin
D. Eric Chamberlin MD is a Connecticut native who graduated from the University of Connecticut Medical School in 1987. Following an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Vermont, he completed a residency in Psychiatry at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Boston where he served as the Chief Resident. He then completed Fellowship training in Consultation Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital. After working as an Attending Psychiatrist consulting on Medical and Surgical patients with complex illness at Mass. General, Dr. Chamberlin became the Medical Director of the Psychiatry-Internal Medicine Inpatient Unit at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
Academic appointments have included Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Dartmouth Medical School.
Currently Dr. Chamberlin is on Staff at The Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital working exclusively in Mind-Body Medicine in an outpatient practice in Glastonbury, CT.
